General & About Elder IT FAQs

Explore answers to the most common general questions about who we are, what makes a technology concierge different, and how we serve seniors and congregations in the Miami Valley area.

What is a technology concierge? How is it different than other tech support services?

Section titled “What is a technology concierge? How is it different than other tech support services?”

Traditional tech support is almost always reactive and impersonal—someone rushes through a repair, speaks in confusing technical terms, and leaves you feeling just as hesitant as before.

As a technology concierge, we focus on one-on-one coaching and thoughtful assistance tailored completely to your own pace. We make sure you understand each step, take written notes if you’d like, and feel comfortable and secure using your everyday devices. We don’t just “fix and run”—we build lasting confidence.

Section titled “Is Elder IT affiliated with a specific church denomination or faith?”

No. Elder IT is an independent service that proudly partners with Christian churches and faith communities across all denominations.

Our mission is to come alongside congregations to serve their older members with Christlike patience, dignity, and care. While our church partnerships are a vital part of our outreach, our services are warmly open to everyone in the community regardless of religious background or beliefs.

Do you offer support services to churches and other senior communities?

Section titled “Do you offer support services to churches and other senior communities?”

We partner with churches and senior-serving organizations to provide technology concierge care directly to their members and congregants. Through dedicated community subscriptions, we act as an extension of your church’s outreach—providing patient one-on-one tech help, on-site church office hours, and educational workshops tailored specifically for older adults.

(Note: We do not manage internal church office servers, administrative networks, or sanctuary audiovisual systems—our mission is focused purely on personal tech support for seniors and families).
