General Support & Service Coverage FAQs
Whether you have an urgent device issue or need regular technical maintenance, here are answers to common questions about our support capabilities and service coverage.
What can you help with?
Section titled “What can you help with?”Computers, laptops, smartphones (iPhone & Android), tablets (iPad & Android), Wi-Fi routers, home internet, wireless printers, smart home TVs and speakers, email setups, password recovery, and scam or virus cleanup.
If it plugs into a wall or connects to the internet, ask us. If something is outside our wheelhouse (such as physical component soldering or major appliance repair), we will let you know immediately.
Do you help remotely, in person, or both?
Section titled “Do you help remotely, in person, or both?”Both.
- Remote Support: Many common software glitches, email issues, password questions, and printer driver hiccups can be solved quickly over the phone with secure, one-click screen sharing while you watch comfortably on your own display.
- In-Person Support: For new computer unboxing, physical hardware setup, home Wi-Fi dead-zone troubleshooting, printer cabling, or hands-on practice, we come directly to your home or your church campus.
What area do you serve?
Section titled “What area do you serve?”- In-Person Home Visits: We provide in-person visits throughout the greater Dayton and Miami Valley area, centered in Miamisburg, OH within a 25-mile travel perimeter (including Dayton, Kettering, Centerville, Beavercreek, Oakwood, Springboro, Miamisburg, West Carrollton, Bellbrook, Franklin, and surrounding towns).
- Remote Assistance: Remote phone and screen-sharing sessions are available anywhere across Ohio and nationwide—all you need is a working telephone or internet connection.

Can I reach out on behalf of a parent or family member?
Section titled “Can I reach out on behalf of a parent or family member?”Yes, absolutely.
Many of our first conversations start with an adult son, daughter, or caregiver who wants patient, trustworthy support for an aging parent or relative.
When you get in touch with us, simply mention that you are reaching out on behalf of a family member. We can coordinate scheduling, keep you in the loop with summary notes, and even bill sessions to you directly if you prefer to gift tech support.
How much does support cost?
Section titled “How much does support cost?”Pricing depends on whether you are covered by a partner church plan or receiving direct individual support:
- Church Member Plan: If your congregation subscribes to an Elder IT partnership, remote support and pre-allocated church tech clinics are provided at no direct cost to you. Subsidized in-home visits are also available according to your church’s agreement.
- Individual Seniors (Age 50+):
- Remote phone/screen session: $50 per hour
- In-person home visit: $70 per hour plus base travel fee
- Individual Adults (Under 50):
- Remote session: $60 per hour
- In-person visit: $80 per hour plus base travel fee
- Adults whose church participates in an active partnership receive a 10% courtesy discount!
We believe in complete transparency: no hidden fees, no required contracts, and upfront price quotes before any work begins.
What if you can’t fix my problem?
Section titled “What if you can’t fix my problem?”We guarantee absolute honesty.
If an issue cannot be resolved—for instance, if an internal hardware component has physically failed, a phone screen is shattered beyond repair, or a device is obsolete and no longer receives safety updates—we will tell you honestly and explain why in plain, respectful language.
We never charge you for guessing, and we will always guide you to the safest next step, whether that means recommending a reputable local hardware repair shop, contacting the manufacturer under warranty, or helping you select a simple, cost-effective replacement suited to your exact needs.
